Katie received her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing at Jacksonville University in 2006. Upon completing her undergraduate studies, she became an RN in the Neonatal ICU and spent the next 15 years providing care in Level II and III NICUs . She went back to graduate school in 2020 and graduated from South University in 2022 with her Master’s of Science in Nursing, specializing as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
It is her goal to treat people living with obesity to help them lose weight, while balancing a healthier lifestyle.
She is a military spouse that loves spending time with her family outdoors, enjoying her three children, and reading as many books as she has time for.
